Unless the serie is all about overcoming or confronting day-to-day struggles - in which case, Betty is more adapted in terms of storyline.

I think people prefer Bettie because choosing Veronica might reveal Archie for a slightly morally dodgy or materialistically interested character...

Ooops - Just noticed the question was about "yourself".

I don't know enough about the 2 female characters proposed but, assuming stereotypes, i'd rationally go for Betty. Less fun than Veronica maybe but far easier to deal and live with...

Alternatively, if both wanted me, given their widely differing background, I'd take that as a clue that I am pretty good with seducing women, sleep with both, marry neither and none and keep on sleeping with everything human, female, over the legal age and that has a heartbeat...

Now Jughead would be a cool enough roommate as roommates go. But as a marriage partner he'd be wrong wrong wrong in more ways than I can count.

I have an antipathy towards wholesome blondes in general, plus there's the money. Also, and this is pure supposition, Veronica looks like she'd scratch like an alley cat.

I'd also like to give a big shout out to the modern world that lets me write this drivel at work. 100 years ago I'd have been telling it to my canary at the bottom of the mine.

Rich girls can often be quite "liberal". But, then, the same is true of many "good girls"... The only ones, in my limited experience, who are not as enthusiastic as one might hope, is the ones that consider themselves pretty and see this prettiness as their justification for deserving all the good things in life - They tend to think they're doing you a huge favour by allowing you near them... Although, maybe that's just personal experience and they change when in presence of a (rich, successful, high social strata) guy they actually want...
