White House officials told the Post that mistaken impressions about Mr Obama’s faith were the result of “misinformation campaigns” being waged by his opponents. “While the president has been diligent and personally committed to his own Christian faith, there’s certainly folks who are intent on spreading falsehoods about the president and his values and beliefs,” faith adviser Joshua DuBois said.

Wow. I still remember the good old days when we were amazed that they believed that there were links between Iraq and Al Qaeda.

I visited this site yesterday and was encouraged by the seeing the type of people impelled by their corrupt ideology to leap down into the darkness.

I'd like to see how the various surveys have been done. Because what really kills me is not so much that some nutters believe Obama is Muslim. It is that the number is changing!

If it is the same organisation doing the various tests over time, then I assume the methodology is sound and this result is, basically, damning for the Americans. As Zichao said. It used to be we found it incredible people could believe there were links between AQ and Iraq.

Nowadays, with a good campaign, I am pretty sure you could get significant numbers of Americans (of whatever political colour) to believe that the moon is made of cheese and anyone/anything that says different is a conspiracy...
