Seeing as most of us weren't born at the time, that seems like the sensible solution.
Well seeing as "post-colonial guilt" means "don't-admit-the-empire-was-nasty", no, it's not sensible, becuase it means we fail to learn the lessons of history. Who knows what atrocities in Afghanistan we are whitewashing even today?
