Right. So in order to demonstrate the violation of privacy these machines might produce, they did their "test"... on totally different machines, in a different branch of the gvt entirely.

As to the idea that people might be able to put pictures of 'naked' people on the net if they don't respect procedures, well,... yeah. I mean, if I don't respect procedures, I can launder money, practice loan sharking or defraud investors. Tons of thing I can do IF I don't respect procedures. The cruciable is what happens when I break these procedures. The FSA might be a bit of a joke but, if you're caught laundering money, for example, the penalities are pretty stiff. Up to 15 years, easily, iirc my FSA exam. More than for rape and murder... Ouch!
Last point - The picture we saw of that woman with a gun wasn't exactly easy to identify. i.e. is there a way for the agents to save both the body scan AND a picture of your face? Otherwise, a serie of slightly greenish bodies is unlikely to really worry/shock me. Especially if whoever pull off this prank gets thrown under the (legal) bus...
