As per chart here, UK GDP roughly tripled between 1964 and 2005. Seeing as the BB'ers go back to 1946, they deserve even more credit. So I tell you what, lets dedicate 2/3 of todays GDP every year to paying back the boomers, and we'll call it quits. Deal?

With the GDP at ~$2.6 trillion, and the exchange rate in 2008 being about $1.5, this works out about £1.7 trillion; the two thirds share owed to the boomers works out at slightly under £1.2 trillion. which just about neatly pays of their "debt" in the first year.

I just want all the old nurses to retire, they can have whatever pensions they want but us young ones need jobs.
