This is right. While news reports have described Paul as "psychic", in the absence of a plausible explanation as to how he does this it is reasonable to expect 50:50 - although Paul was still right on the final, when Paul tipped Spain to beat Netherlands.

A factor that I have not seen discussed is that, if Paul's success is due to subtle clues put into his food choices by his owner, how has his owner clocked up such a record?
