Google has a lame video logo of Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara, a Parsee, in Zanzibar) to mark what would have been his 65th birthday (can't find a permalink). I remember Freddie's "Bohemian Rhapsody" from a party in Adelaide, South Australia one night in late 1976, about a year after it had been released and topped the singles charts in the UK. Our host was a Scouse, who loved it and played it obsessively all evening.

Those were both good times and bad times for me, and I have always remembered the song.

I had a friend when I was about 12 whose party piece involved doing the whole of Bohemian Rhapsody with all the SFX. It was the 8th wonder.
