Ubisoft's upcoming party game We Dare for the Wii and PS3 has been fleshed out by a trailer that has left many gamers open-mouthed in response to its "fun and flirty" content.
In the "Have a spicy evening!" spot, two well-dressed couples finish their meal together and start up a game of We Dare.
They pair up to nibble suggestively at a Wii controller before engaging in some light spanking.
The final mini-game shown takes the form of a strip show by the two men for the amusement of their female companions.
"What is this game? Wii Swingers?" asks YouTube user dizzmat1.
"Just having this game on the shelf is probably a great way to compel dinner party guests to leave at a decent hour," concludes thatdarnsatan.
Many commenters have been reduced to articulating their incredulity by means of popular catchphrases such as "WTF" and "What is this I don't even..."
Ubisoft's Just Dance series has been described by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata as having "played the most important role in [2010's] year-end sales" on the Wii, more so than traditional Nintendo titles in the Donkey Kong, Kirby, or Mario series.
Given the success of Just Dance, perhaps Ubisoft knows a bit more about We Dare's mainstream appeal than it is being given credit for.
We Dare is scheduled for release on the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3 Move systems on March 3 in Europe and March 11 in the UK, rated 12+.
The "Have a spicy evening!" trailer is hosted on Ubisoft's YouTube channel at YouTube - We Dare - Have a spicy evening ! and on the We Dare website, Ubisoft - We Dare.

Thinking about the market segment at which this is aimed makes me want to open my wrists. Makes dating sims look relatively wholesome and unfucked-up.
