In the midst of a feature on men consigned to prison with life sentences I read this:

It's not the first time I have seen women described as "bubbly" although on most occasions the women I have observed as being bubbly had a severe cold and were in want of a tissue. I assume that "bubbly" women are not prized for their ability to snort snot on one's shoulder when you cuddle them, but whence from their anatomy are bubbles blown?

And which big hole would the bubbles fill?

Desperately boring: avoid at all costs.

Snot has become an active area of research, marked by the award this year of an Ig Nobel Prize to scientists who successfully used a remote-controlled helicopter for harvesting snot from whales.

Could remotely controlled helicopter technology one day reach a stage where we could harvest snot from bubbly women? If so, what would we do with it, apart from testing for illegal drugs?
