The really troublesome cockroaches here are the little German ones, but the large native ones that mainly subsist on rotting leaves and wood in the garden and occasionally fly inside are more spectacular. Walking along a local lane today I spotted a tiny horse that has apparently engaged a large cockroach in combat, and vanquished it:



I took the horse to the pub and bought it a drink:



Then I took it home and introduced it to The New Topical, in the hope that it would join, and provides us with its own perspective:



If we are looking for new members, nobody - however bizarre - should be turned down.
