I have rejected other religions for a variety of reasons.....it is true that I cannot credit any religion that argues a human being can attain righteousness by his own conduct, given the empirical evidence of improper conduct upon the part of even the best among us.....

Right. So how comes other religions emerged? Let's leave aside Judaism (precusor) and Islam (a deviancy from the Christ teachings, like all the other Christian currents you disagree with). What about Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Shintoism, Animism, Paganism etc etc? What drives them? If they are not the Revealed Truth and they are not sociological phenomenons either, what are they?

it would be necessary to examine each individually....what was the precursor to the religion and what is stressed within it to distinguish it from it's precursor.....not all religions profess to be a "revealed truth"....many don't even acknowledge the existence of an entity that could 'reveal'......some may in fact be sociological phenomenons.....Islam is not a deviation from Christianity, it's a deviation from Judaism....they consider themselves children of the God of Abraham but not part of the covenant between God and Abraham.....
