The second electronic gadget that has caught my eye (so to speak) is the wearable video monitor....

I believe this innovation will rank along with the keyboard and the laptop as innovations that completely changed the way people use computers.'



attached to an ipod or netbook, these allow the same sensation as viewing a 60" wide screen television from ten feet away......new models allow people to switch between normal television viewing and see through mode which permits people to walk down the street without a white cane while keeping up with GPS directions.....

I have no strong desire to walk down the street plugged-in, but when a pair of them cost less than a 60" TV, will buy.

What do you need a real world for if and when you can create your own ...

I would still need message boards to find someone to argue with......arguments with myself always end in a draw, since I never lose....

SF predicts eventually much smaller and less intrusive devices that do not actually display an image so much as direct a low powered laser straight onto the retina.

I think I will pass on lasers pointed at my retina, thanks.....
